A meeting with Pierrette Lambert, a very out-of-the-ordinary artist

Pierrette Lambert is 91. She is a French artist who for many years used her talents in the service of the Bank of France
designing bank notes.

She also created bank notes and stamps for many African countries and for Vietnam.

On average she needed three or four months to finalise a model.

After a life spent working in secret behind closed doors, Pierrette Lambert has come out of hiding and is putting her work
on show to the public.

This report was broadcast on 1st January 2020 in the One O’clock TFI Newsreel

presented by Jacques Legros.
